At first glance, he didn’t seem dangerous at all.

“Alright, sorry for the trouble.” Gang Leader Yun didn’t speak; instead, it was the middle-aged man in black standing next to him who replied.
Gang Leader Yun withdrew his gaze, nodded at Ye Qing, and then turned to follow Sun Wenhai.
“Hall Master Sun,” after they walked out, Zhuo Ping, the man in black following behind Gang Leader Yun, couldn’t help but ask Sun Wenhai, “was that your gang’s eldest daughter just now?”
After all, this was supposed to be the number one gang in Green City. Having an eldest daughter was one thing, but having that kind of eldest daughter?
Ye Qing had fought hard out there for so many years and was known for his decisiveness. How could he have a daughter like that?
Sun Wenhai naturally understood the implication in Zhuo Ping’s words. Suppressing his anger, he forced a smile at the group. “This way, we’re almost there.”

As they walked, suddenly a woman rushed in from the front in a whirlwind, moving way too fast.
She was initially heading straight for Gang Leader Yun, but he stepped aside effortlessly. By moving out of the way, the person standing next to him, Zhuo Ping, wasn’t so lucky—he wasn’t fast enough and got bumped into directly.

Ye Meng had originally been about to leave, but as her gaze shifted, she noticed Gang Leader Yun standing behind Zhuo Ping. She was instantly stunned.

The two of them interacted warmly, like a normal father and daughter.
Ye Shaohua stood to the side, watching them. She shoved her other hand into her pocket, a smile curling on her lips—a smile that was utterly unlike the original host’s. It carried a hint of sarcasm and a touch of wickedness.
