At this point, Hexi let out a sigh.
She too wished she could relax, but that would have to wait until she’d trained up a worthy successor.
Zhi Xin was her most satisfying apprentice, but she was still too inexperienced and far too naive. There was still a long road ahead before she could take over.
In the new Angelic civilization established by the Three Kings, each bore her own responsibilities.
The Blade of Heaven King was charged with maintaining order across the universe and leading the Angels’ external wars. Sacred Kesha had excelled in this role.
In fact, ever since the title of “Sacred Kesha, King of the Gods” rose to prominence, no petty troublemaker had dared to provoke the Angelic civilization.
The name of the Angels was known to every civilization in the known universe.
Kesha was the Queen of Angels, but in her heart, she would always be the Blade of Heaven King.
The Heaven’s Foundation King represented the very foundation and heritage of Angelic civilization. It could be said that the Angelic civilization’s current achievements would not have been possible without the research of Heaven’s Foundation King Hexi.
In the Melo Heavenly Court, Hexi’s status was second only to Sacred Kesha—but in Kesha’s eyes, Hexi was even more important.
As for the Heaven’s Enlightenment King… she was meant to embody the wisdom of the Angels, offering guidance in all aspects of Angelic civilization and helping it flourish.
Unfortunately, because of the Void, Liang Bing had taken a path that diverged entirely from theirs.
Sacred Kesha rejected the Void—or rather, she rejected the endless spread of Void knowledge to the rest of the universe. She believed that the resulting panic would have a devastating impact on cosmic development. But Liang Bing saw things differently.
She wanted to share this knowledge and this philosophy with every civilization in the universe.
However, she never considered the consequences—or perhaps she believed that the terror of the Void civilization would accelerate the development of other races, leading to the birth of more gods and increasing the chances of resisting the Void.
When philosophies clash, it’s only natural that paths diverge.
Even if given another chance, Sacred Kesha would still do the same.
“Speaking of which, Yan did mention someone interesting to me.”
“A man blessed by Earth itself, destined to become a god.”
Kesha said, recalling the mention of Bai Xuan from Yan. She wondered how Yan’s guidance was coming along.
Great power—if not wielded with a sufficient state of mind—would only turn one into a slave to it.
Moreover, being bound to his home planet, his strength would grow alongside the power of those who dwelled there.
Setting aside the Angelic civilization, his potential was far greater than Yan’s.
“Oh?”
Hexi’s eyes lit up with curiosity, and she said with amusement:
“What, got your eye on him?”
“He does seem quite compatible with Yan. Are you having her get close to him because you want her to bring back a male god from another world?”
“…”
“That’s the idea.”
Kesha nodded. Compared to the Galaxy Force, the man from that platform was clearly a better match for Yan.
“But the data we’ve gathered so far is too scarce and incomplete. Without a data match using the Treasury of Knowledge, I can’t say for sure.”
“???”
“Here you go again.”
Hexi was speechless, then said with exasperation:
“That broken thing is never accurate. It was the same with Ainexide, and it was the same when you tried to match Yan with the Galaxy Force.”
“Forget it, forget it.”
“I don’t care about the rest, but I won’t allow you to do that to Zhi Xin.”
Kesha didn’t argue with that, but she also didn’t agree.
As the pinnacle of Angelic civilization’s computing power, the Treasury of Knowledge was second only to the Great Clock in the entire known universe. Its results had to be more accurate than relying on gut feelings for a chance meeting, acquaintance, and love.
If you think in mystical terms, computing power is akin to the Time Stone—it too can predict the future. It just requires massive amounts of data and processing power. The Treasury of Knowledge was fully capable of that.
After a moment’s thought, Kesha became curious. She entered some of the known data on Bai Xuan alongside that of Angel Yan into the system and ran a calculation.
“96%?”
Kesha remarked in surprise.
To put that in perspective, even the previous compatibility match between the Galaxy Force and Yan was only 87%.
Was it because the input data was too limited? Or was there something special about Bai Xuan?
If that was the case, Yan might just end up bringing back a male god from another world after all.
“Hey hey hey, I was just talking about you.”
Hexi gave Kesha a look of utter exasperation. It’s bad enough that you’re doing this, but do you have to do it right in front of me? Do I, the Heaven’s Foundation King, have no dignity at all?
But 96%?
That had to be the highest compatibility score so far, right?
If Yan and this guy got 96%, then what about little Zhi Xin?
Hexi grew curious as well. She pulled up the Treasury of Knowledge and swapped in Zhi Xin’s data to replace Angel Yan’s.
“98%?”
“Is this thing broken?”
Hexi and Kesha exchanged bewildered glances. Previously, the highest score had only been in the 80s, yet all of a sudden, two results had shot past 90%, both exceptionally high.
Then, like children who’d stumbled upon a fascinating new toy, they began substituting the data of other Angels one by one, running match after match.
“…”
Neither of them knew exactly how many Angels’ data they’d fed into the system, but the lowest score they got was a whopping 89%—from Angel Leng’s data.
“Now I’m starting to think it really is broken.”
Kesha rubbed her temples.
If a single individual could achieve such high compatibility with so many Angels, it meant that within the input data for Bai Xuan, there was something incredibly alluring to Angelkind.
It was hard to believe that such a person—one so perfectly attuned to Angels—could appear in a different world.
As for the possibility of the Treasury of Knowledge itself being broken… that was far too unlikely. Both Kesha and Hexi treated that notion as nothing more than an exaggerated expression of their shock.
“Right now, Zhi Xin has the highest match. But hey, you old witch, what are you doing? Why are you entering my data—”
Kesha noticed Hexi’s actions and tried to stop her, but Hexi was quicker. A moment later, the Treasury of Knowledge spat out a number that left them both silent—99%.
“I don’t think this is just about Angel Yan anymore. It seems the entire Angel race has stumbled upon something extraordinary.”
Hexi stared at the reading, then glanced over at Kesha.
“Tsk tsk tsk… after over thirty thousand years, Kesha, your male god has finally arrived.”
“He’s from another world, sure, and over thirty thousand years younger than you.”
“But that’s fine. By your logic, in another million years, he’ll only be a fraction of your age.”
“HAHAHAHA!”
Hexi couldn’t help but burst out laughing. She’d swapped in so many Angels’ data earlier, and all of them had yielded remarkably high compatibility scores. So of course, Kesha’s score couldn’t be low either. But she never expected it to surpass even little Zhi Xin’s!
99%!
Forget Yan and Zhi Xin—this was clearly Kesha’s own romance!
“…”
Kesha stared at Hexi with a completely blank expression. To be honest, even she was starting to feel a little rattled.
99%?
That was just too unbelievable. In the entire known universe, it would be nearly impossible to find two people with such a perfect match.
