Lin Hai really hadn’t expected to stumble onto a lead under circumstances like this.
But right now, there was no time to dwell on that—saving Yunyun came first.
Over in Qin Shou’s room, things had already descended into total chaos.
Nine girls, acting like they’d lost their minds, had pounced on Qin Shou and pinned him to the bed. Their moans and gasps rose and fell in a symphony that could easily rival any adult film from that certain island nation.
Lin Yun, seeing that she couldn’t get out before things kicked off, had bolted into the bathroom and locked the door behind her. She had no idea what was going on out there, but she figured it couldn’t be anything good.
She tried calling Lin Hai again to come rescue her, only to find her phone had died. Huddled inside, she was on the verge of tears from sheer anxiety.

The door was suddenly kicked open with a violent crash.
“Ahh!” The nine girls, who had been completely lost in the moment, jolted back to their senses and scrambled to pull the blanket over themselves.
Trouble was, one blanket for nine people? There was no way that was going to work. They fought and yanked at it, but nobody ended up properly covered. One by one, they covered their faces in fright and curled up into trembling little balls.
Qin Shou had been lying on the bed, enjoying himself, when the sudden kick to the door made him shoot upright with a start.
Before he could even process what was happening, Lin Hai had already lunged onto the bed, grabbed him by the scruff of the neck, and hoisted him clean off the mattress.
“Hai Ge!” Meng Xu, whose room was right next door, came running over in nothing but his boxers.
“F*CK YOUR MOTHER!” Lin Hai had completely lost it. The moment he stepped in and saw all those girls stark naked, his mind naturally jumped to the worst-case scenario—that Yunyun was among them.
“I’m gonna f*cking destroy you.” Lin Hai suddenly reached out and clenched his hand in midair.
“Star-Plucking Hand!”

“AHHH!!!” Qin Shou let out a bloodcurdling scream, clutching his crotch as his body convulsed violently. After two spasms, the pain knocked him clean unconscious.
“Holy sh*t!” Meng Xu stood frozen at the doorway, watching as Lin Hai’s single clenched fist turned Qin Shou’s manhood into a bloody pulp. A chill shot straight through his own nether regions, and he instinctively squeezed his legs together.
“Hai Ge, what the hell happened?” Meng Xu hurried over.
Lin Hai’s eyes were bloodshot by now. Seeing someone approach, he reached out and grabbed him by the collar.
“Hai Ge, don’t hit me, don’t hit me—it’s me, Xiao Meng!” Meng Xu was about to cry from fright. He quickly shielded his crotch and blurted out in panic.
“Xiao Meng?” Lin Hai’s senses returned somewhat. He tossed Meng Xu aside and swept his gaze over the nine girls.
“Huh? Yunyun’s not here?” Lin Hai froze for a second, then felt a surge of relief.
Ha! Her not being here was great news!
“What about the girl who came with you guys?” Lin Hai suddenly asked.
“S-she’s in the bathroom. She locked herself in,” one of the girls said, her voice quivering as she kept her head buried under the blanket.
“Yunyun’s okay?” Lin Hai was overjoyed at the news and let out a huge sigh of relief.
“Get dressed, all of you. And in the future, have some self-respect.” He said this to the girls before heading straight for the bathroom.
Just as he was about to knock, a crowd of bodyguards came bursting through the door.
“Oh?” Lin Hai’s gaze sharpened.
Meng Xu, seeing this, quickly stepped forward.
“Get lost, all of you! F*ck off and do whatever the hell you’re supposed to be doing!”
“But Young Master Meng…” Wang Long had also spotted Qin Shou lying on the ground with his crotch a bloody mess. He knew something serious had gone down.
“Tch, you deaf or something? I said get lost! And drag this piece of trash out with you.” Meng Xu pointed at Qin Shou on the floor.
“Yes, sir.” Wang Long quickly ordered the bodyguards to haul Qin Shou out and get him to a hospital.
“Young Master Meng, do you need us to leave a few men behind…” Wang Long glanced at Lin Hai too. The guy looked somewhat familiar, but since Lin Hai was the one who’d caused today’s ruckus, Wang Long was worried about leaving Meng Xu alone. If anything happened to him, the consequences would be more than Wang Long could bear.
“Leave your sister! I said all of you, SCRAM!” Meng Xu waved his hand impatiently.
“Understood, Young Master Meng.” Wang Long shot Lin Hai one more look before turning to leave, still on guard.
He’d only taken two steps when his body suddenly jolted. It finally clicked where he’d seen Lin Hai before.
Thank God he hadn’t acted impulsively and ordered his men to take Lin Hai down. If he had, he’d probably be leaving this place horizontally today.
Without realizing it, Wang Long had broken out in a cold sweat.
“Hai Ge, need any help from me?” After the bodyguards cleared out, Meng Xu scurried over to Lin Hai like an eager little puppy.
Lin Hai was too worried about Yunyun to bother with him. He rapped on the bathroom door instead.
“Yunyun, it’s me, your big bro. I’m here to take you home.”
Lin Yun flinched at the knock, but when she recognized Lin Hai’s voice, she hurriedly unlocked the door, overcome with emotion.
“Big bro!” She threw herself into Lin Hai’s arms.
“Yunyun, are you okay?” Lin Hai quickly steadied her. Seeing that her clothes were still in order, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“Bro, take me away right now! You have no idea how disgusting Qin Shou is. I don’t like him anymore—ever!”
Lin Hai thought to himself, Oh, I know exactly how disgusting he is—I just watched a whole damn show with my own eyes.
But since his little sister was unharmed, and Qin Shou had been neutered by his own hand, Lin Hai suddenly felt a tiny bit sorry for the guy.
Then again, on second thought, he figured he’d done a good deed here. If he hadn’t put that beast out of commission, who knows how many more girls would’ve fallen victim to him down the line.
“Who the f*ck is causing trouble here?!” Just as Lin Hai was about to leave with Lin Yun, Ye Ziming stormed in, fuming with rage.
“Lin Hai?” The moment he stepped inside, Ye Ziming froze.

But that “schoolmate” label meant nothing more than the fact that they attended the same institution. Before this, one was a rich playboy and the other a broke nobody—they’d never had a single point of intersection.

Before Lin Hai could even respond, Meng Xu stepped up and slapped Ye Ziming right across the face.

That one slap left Ye Ziming completely dumbfounded.
“Young Master Meng, wh-what’s this about…?” Ye Ziming held his cheek, utterly bewildered.
“What’s going on here?” At that moment, a team of police officers, led by Wang Meng, came charging in.
“Chief Wang! He’s the one who came to our hotel causing trouble—assaulting people, creating chaos! You need to arrest him right—”
“Shut up!” Before Liu You could finish, Wang Meng roared at him, making the man flinch so hard he didn’t dare utter another word.
“Mr. Lin here is a man of status. There’s no way he’d come here to cause trouble. If you keep slandering him, watch out—I might just arrest you!”
“Th-this…” Liu You was completely dumbfounded.
“Chief Wang, what status?! He’s just a broke-ass student! I go to the same school as him—don’t I know? Just arrest him already and throw the book at him!” Ye Ziming suddenly shouted from the side.
“Just a broke student? The hell are you trying to pull?” Wang Meng felt nothing but contempt for Ye Ziming in his heart.
He’d personally seen Lin Hai hanging out with Director Peng and Secretary Hou just a couple of days ago. This guy wasn’t some small fry—he was practically a living Buddha!
“Young Master Ye, we police officers always uphold the law impartially. We never abuse our power for personal gain, nor do we let others boss us around. I’d appreciate it if you didn’t interfere with our work!” Wang Meng said with a face full of righteous conviction.

“Yunyun, let’s go.” With more people gathering by the minute, Lin Hai figured it was best to get his sister home first.
“Hold it right there!” Ye Ziming blocked Lin Hai’s path. The guy had scared him, and he wasn’t about to let him walk away that easily.
“What, you gonna invite me to dinner or something?” Lin Hai raised an eyebrow.
“Hmph! You think you can just stir up sh*t and leave? Nothing’s ever that easy!” Ye Ziming puffed out his chest stubbornly.
“Stir up sh*t? Tch, didn’t you hear Chief Wang? Big Bro here is a legit ID-carrying citizen!”
“I think you—”
“Young Master Ye! I’m here! Let me see which dumbass has the balls to cause trouble!” Before Ye Ziming could finish, a goofy, brainless voice rang out from outside the door.
