My Amazing WeChat is Connected to the Three Realms - Chapter 86
Liu Xinyue pushed Lin Hai onto the bed, her soft, moist lips pressing against his as her sweet tongue eagerly explored his mouth.
“Mmm…” Lin Hai was caught completely off guard.
This girl was usually so shy and reserved about this kind of thing—what had gotten into her today? Why was she being so forward?
On any other day, Lin Hai would have taken the initiative and turned defense into offense.
But not today. Damn it, there were two spectators right here!
“Xinyue, wait, hold on.” Lin Hai gently pushed her away.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, only then noticing that tears were streaming down her face. He quickly reached out to wipe them from her delicate cheeks.
“I… I thought I’d never see you again,” Liu Xinyue sobbed, burying her face in his chest and crying uncontrollably.
“Silly girl, I’m back now, aren’t I?” Lin Hai tenderly stroked her hair, his heart aching with tenderness.
He now realized that after the car accident, he had been missing for three days.
He couldn’t even imagine how Liu Xinyue had endured those three days.
Seeing her tear-streaked face, Lin Hai desperately wanted to hold her tightly in his arms and cherish her.
“Hey, could you two take a hint?” Lin Hai communicated telepathically to Chu Lin’er and Ahua.
Chu Lin’er glanced at him but continued playing Gomoku, showing no intention of leaving.
Ahua was even worse—he trotted right up to Lin Hai’s feet.
“Dad, just do what you gotta do. Pretend I’m not even here.”
Damn it!
Lin Hai was furious at these two oversized third wheels.
Screw it, he thought. Let them watch. They’re just a ghost and a dog, not even human. I’ll treat them like animals.
“Xinyue…”
“Hmm?”
“Should we… continue?”
“Continue what?”
Instead of answering, Lin Hai pinned her down on the bed, letting his actions speak for him.
This time, Liu Xinyue was exceptionally cooperative, actively responding to him as they lost themselves in passion.
Lin Hai’s hands wandered over her body.
“Oh…” Liu Xinyue let out a breathy, enchanting moan.
“This feels amazing…”
“I haven’t been the boss for years…” Just as he was about to lose himself in the moment, his phone rang.
“You should answer that,” Liu Xinyue whispered, her face flushed as she hurriedly adjusted her clothes.
“Damn it, who is it?” Lin Hai was furious at the caller. Could their timing be any worse?
“Master! Haha, you’re really not dead! I thought you were a goner. I’m so relieved you’re alive…” Baldy Qiang laughed heartily over the phone.
Lin Hai hung up immediately.
Damn it, couldn’t he have picked a better time to call?
“Xinyue…” Lin Hai pulled her back into his arms.
“Hmm?” She lowered her head, fiddling with the hem of her shirt.
Lin Hai’s heart raced.
“I haven’t been the boss for years…”
The phone rang again.
Are you fucking kidding me?!
Lin Hai was beyond annoyed and had no intention of answering.
“Hurry up and get it!” Liu Xinyue pushed his hand away.
Reluctantly, Lin Hai picked up the phone, irritation clear in his voice.
“Master! You’re really not dead! Haha, I knew you wouldn’t die. Baldy Qiang insisted you were a goner—how could he doubt you? And he still wants to be the senior disciple? I won’t stand for it…”
Like hell you won’t!
Lin Hai hung up on Du Chun without another word.
This is just cruel, he thought. Why did I have to end up with these two clowns? They always cause trouble at the worst possible moments. Did they plan this?
“Xinyue…” He pulled her close again.
“Hmm.” She kept her head down, her cheeks flushed.
“Sorry about all the spam calls,” Lin Hai said, his hands beginning to wander once more.
“I haven’t been the boss for years…”
The phone rang again!
Goddammit! No matter who you are, you’d better have a damn good reason, or I’ll skin you alive!
Lin Hai was seething.
“What?!” he snapped into the phone, his tone aggressive.
The person on the other end paused, clearly taken aback by his anger.
“Mr. Lin, it’s Peng Tao,” the voice identified itself.
“Peng Tao?” Lin Hai was momentarily confused, unsure why the police chief would be calling him.
“What do you want?” he asked impatiently.
Peng Tao hesitated, wondering what he’d done to upset the esteemed young man this time.
“Mr. Lin, you reported the organ theft case at the Fifth Hospital, right? I think there might be more to this situation. Could you come down to the station? We…”
“I’m busy!” Lin Hai hung up abruptly.
Damn it, he thought. I report a crime, and now it’s causing me more trouble. So annoying!
“Xinyue…” He reached for her again.
“I haven’t been the boss for years…”
Son of a bitch!
Lin Hai lost it.
“What the hell do you want now?!” he yelled into the phone.
No one would be in a good mood after being interrupted repeatedly in such a situation. Lin Hai couldn’t care less that he was talking to a police chief.
“Hiss…” Peng Tao took a deep breath, forcing down his anger.
Damn it, he thought. I’m the chief of police. Almost everyone in Jiangnan City treats me with respect. How dare this kid in his early twenties talk to me like this?
If it weren’t for Lin Hai’s unfathomable abilities and the fact that he’d saved his father, Peng Tao would have slammed the phone down long ago.
“Mr. Lin, you were in a car accident right after reporting the case. I suspect the two incidents might be connected. I need you to cooperate with our investigation,” Peng Tao said, keeping his tone as calm as possible.
“Lin Hai, you should go. This is important,” Liu Xinyue urged, having already straightened her clothes.
“Fine, I’ll be there soon,” Lin Hai relented. After all, Peng Tao was the police chief—it wouldn’t do to push things too far.
“Damn it, this is just my luck,” he grumbled after hanging up.
“Dad, you’ve had luck with dogs?” Ahua asked, sounding shocked.
Pfft!
Luck with your sister!
“Get lost!” Lin Hai kicked him aside.
“Dad, don’t be mad. I totally get how you feel. One time, I was with this female dog, right? I was already on her, and then—”
“Then your sister!” Lin Hai was even angrier now. Was this really the time for comparisons? He kicked Ahua out of the room.
His car was still gone, so Lin Hai hailed a taxi and took Liu Xinyue home first.
“Xiao Hai! You’re okay! You scared me to death!” Zhao Fang exclaimed, overjoyed to see Lin Hai alive and even wiping away a few tears.
Liu Xinyue’s younger sister, Liu Xinqing, was also thrilled to see him at first but soon scowled.
“Hmph! And you promised to be with me for my college entrance exams. Some promise!”
“Uh…” Lin Hai scratched his head awkwardly. “There was an emergency.”
“I don’t care! You broke your promise.”
“Then let me make it up to you. Name anything you want, and I’ll do it.”
“Really? You mean it?”
“I mean it. Name it.” Lin Hai thumped his chest confidently.
“Hmph, I haven’t decided yet. I’ll tell you when I think of something.”
After chatting with Zhao Fang for a while longer, Lin Hai took a taxi to the police station.
“Hey, what do you think you’re doing?” A guard stopped him as soon as he entered the gate.
“I’m here to see the chief,” Lin Hai said.
“See the chief?” The guard looked him up and down disdainfully.
“The chief doesn’t see just anyone. Get lost! Go find somewhere else to loiter.” He started shoving Lin Hai toward the exit.
Already in a bad mood, Lin Hai’s temper flared at the guard’s attitude.
“Fine, you’re the one who told me to leave. Don’t expect me to come back even if you beg me later.” With that, Lin Hai turned to leave.
“Beg you? Who the hell do you think you are?” The guard smirked dismissively.
“Just you wait,” Lin Hai retorted without looking back.
“We’ll see about that! I’ve been here over ten years—I’ve seen all kinds of people. You’re just some country bumpkin. Me, beg you? If that ever happens, I’ll call you ancestor!”
Without another word, Lin Hai made a call.
Ring ring! Moments later, the phone in the guard booth rang.
The guard’s expression changed when he saw the caller ID. He picked up the phone, fawning like a obedient dog.
“Chief Peng! This is Guard Gou speaking!” He nodded and bowed into the phone, a servile smile plastered on his face.
But soon, that smile twisted into something uglier than tears.
“Ancestor, please don’t go!” he wailed in despair after a long moment.
