With My Ability To Swap, I Will Never End Up In A Love Triangle Mess - Chapter 79
“What do you mean?”
Liu Yiyi’s tone was sharp.
“Don’t tell me you expect me to wear your clothes? Dream on! I’d rather die than put them on!”
Her face was pale with anger, teeth clenched.
Xia Xi, meanwhile, could only sigh and rub his temples.
Though he had gotten somewhat used to Liu Yiyi’s temper by now, dealing with someone this difficult was still a pain.
“Boss, you see…”
Since he couldn’t handle her himself, he decided to call for backup. Surely Liu Jiaying, as her older sister, had some sway over her.
Sure enough, after a solid three minutes of “education” from Liu Jiaying, Liu Yiyi finally gave in.
Wearing a boy’s clothes? This was a first for her. Sure, she liked loose, gender-neutral outfits at home—or sometimes nothing at all—but wearing someone else’s freshly removed clothes in public? That felt downright humiliating.
“Alright, now that we’ve settled that, let’s all turn around, take off our clothes, and put them on the bench.”
Liu Jiaying instructed everyone to face away, place their clothes in designated spots, and then—without turning around—pick up the garments meant for their swapped identities. This way, nobody would end up exposed.
If it were just her and Liu Yiyi, they could’ve changed directly. But with Xia Xi, a guy, present, they had to take precautions.
Liu Jiaying didn’t mind, of course. Her tolerance for Xia Xi was high—she wouldn’t even care if he saw her in just her undergarments. But Liu Yiyi? To her, Xia Xi was a complete stranger, a man through and through.
The sound of rustling fabric filled the changing room, accompanied by Liu Yiyi’s flustered, uneven breathing.
“Sis… I really don’t want to wear this…”
She poked Liu Jiaying’s slender waist, her voice tinged with grievance.
“Hmm… I think there’s still his butler outfit in the shop. It’s pretty similar in style to the maid dress—want to try that instead?”
Liu Yiyi pictured herself in a butler uniform and shook her head violently.
“No, no, forget it. I’ll just stick with this.”
Eyes tightly shut, she pulled on the light-blue jeans and then wrestled into Xia Xi’s oversized white hoodie.
The difference in their builds made the clothes hang comically large on her, much like how they had on Lin Xuening before. The hoodie swallowed her whole, draping past her hips, while the jeans had to be hiked up to her waist just to keep them from dragging on the floor.
Unlike Lin Xuening, though, Liu Yiyi was even smaller, so the clothes didn’t even have the decency to look slightly less ridiculous.
Liu Jiaying wasn’t faring much better.
Her sister’s clothes were way too tight on her. The neckline gaped, revealing a generous expanse of pale skin, while the fabric strained against her chest, deepening the already dramatic “Grand Canyon” effect. The pressure made it feel like her chest was about to burst.
And then there were the shorts—supposedly a casual fit, but on Liu Jiaying, they might as well have been compression sportswear, clinging to every curve.
“Yiyi… maybe you should try drinking a glass of milk before bed every night?”
Liu Yiyi’s face flushed red as she caught her sister’s implication.
Images of countless milk cartons piled in their trash flashed through her mind, and she exploded in embarrassment.
“Mind your own business! Ugh, I know my own body best! This is perfect the way it is—at least no one can call me brainless!”
Xia Xi, still facing away, silently agreed: Yeah, yeah, flat-chested girls have their own market. No worries about ending up unmarried.
“Huh? Xia Xi, why haven’t you changed yet? My clothes should fit you, right?”
The sisters turned around, only to find Xia Xi still standing there in nothing but his boxers.
“Pervert!”
Liu Yiyi immediately whipped back around, her face burning as she angrily typed away on her phone—probably ranting to someone.
Xia Xi, meanwhile, was at a loss for words.
Yes, technically, he could wear Liu Jiaying’s clothes. But… since when was she wearing a gothic Lolita dress with straps?!
He distinctly remembered her in a long shirt and pants earlier. How had they magically transformed into this frilly monstrosity? No wonder the fabric had felt weird when he picked it up.
Forget the fact that a grown man in a strappy Lolita dress would be a sight to scar humanity—there wasn’t even anything to fill out the top half. Were the cups just supposed to sag pathetically?
“I, uh… Boss, can’t I just wear what you had on before? That looked way better…”
Liu Jiaying covered her mouth, giggling. “Nope~”
“Ohhh, so you want to wear clothes still warm from my body? How naughty~”
“But… I refuse!”
“Also—still calling me ‘Boss’? What if someone overhears and gets the wrong idea? From now on, you call me Yiyi, and her Xia Xi.”
Seriously? They had to change names too?
Back when he and Lin Xuening had swapped, they hadn’t bothered. Sure, a guy being called “Xiao Xue” might seem odd, but as the saying goes, “Life doesn’t have that many spectators.” Who cared?
“Just put it on already. I picked this out specially for you—this dress cost over 2,000 yuan! It’s one of my favorites, and it’ll look amazing.”
Seeing no way out, Xia Xi gritted his teeth and pulled the sinful garment over his head from the hem up.
With nothing to hold up the top, the dress slid straight down to his waist. He had to yank it back up and fasten the straps over his shoulders just to keep it somewhat in place.
Sure, the chest area still looked depressingly flat, but it was… tolerable.
“Happy now?”
“Nope! I’ve got two more things for you~”
Liu Jiaying grinned mischievously and pulled out two plump, rounded objects, shoving them straight into Xia Xi’s dress.
A sudden chill pressed against his chest as something adhesive stuck to his skin—and just like that, the Lolita top plumped out perfectly.
From the neck down, he now looked like a very curvaceous “beauty”… as long as no one looked at his face.
“WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?!”
“Relax~ Just some ordinary breast pads. No big deal.”
Listening to this exchange, Liu Yiyi had finally had enough.
She spun around and shouted, “Are we done here?! I’m going back to the hotel! Ugh, this is so gross…”
Without waiting for a response, she stormed toward the door and flung it open—
THUD.
…Only to slam face-first into what felt like an invisible wall.
“Owowow—!” Clutching her forehead, she staggered back and landed on her butt.
Yeah, no kidding—the system had been clear: the three of them couldn’t be more than ten meters apart!
