My Amazing WeChat is Connected to the Three Realms - Chapter 76
Back at the villa, Lin Hai lay on his bed, thinking about the events of the day.
Who knows what those people were doing digging out human organs? Whatever it was, it’s just too cruel—they didn’t even spare the corpses.
I hope the cops catch them. Cut off the men’s dicks and the women’s tits—serve those bastards right.
Chu Lin’er stood beside him, holding her phone as she sent a WeChat message to King Chu Jiang.
Chu Lin’er: Father, today Lin Hai took out what looked like a Yang Essence Pill from the Immortal Realm and added ten years of lifespan to a dead person. Now I’m certain—what he said about encountering celestial and underworld fate must be true.
King Chu Jiang: Are you serious?! (followed by a shocked emoji)
Chu Lin’er: Absolutely! Father, should we…
King Chu Jiang: Lin’er, no. Remember—everything in the Three Realms follows its own course. Let this matter unfold naturally. Just observe for now. This Lin Hai is a man of great fortune. There’s no need to flatter him, but it’s best not to make an enemy of him either.
Chu Lin’er: Understood, Father.
“Hey, why is your phone so clunky and ugly? Is it a knockoff?” Lin Hai suddenly said to Chu Lin’er.
“Hmph! Don’t talk nonsense. This is the highest-end phone in the underworld—cost me 100,000 Yin Virtue Points!”
“Damn, for real? Let me see.” Lin Hai was skeptical.
“Be careful! Don’t break it!” Chu Lin’er handed him the phone with extreme caution.
Lin Hai took one look and burst out laughing.
What the hell? Isn’t this just a senior citizen’s phone?
He had bought his parents phones just like this.
The tiny screen had only two oversized apps: WeChat and a camera.
Lin Hai swiped the screen to check for more.
“Huh? Wait, that’s it?”
“Of course. What else would a phone have besides WeChat and a camera?” Chu Lin’er looked genuinely confused.
Holy shit. Lin Hai gave her a weird look.
Damn, is the underworld still living in the Stone Age?
“Here, check out my phone.” Lin Hai grinned smugly, pulling out his own device to show off.
“See? WeChat, QQ, Weibo, JD Shopping, NetEase News, iReader, Meitu, Landlord—tons of apps. Way better than yours.” He smirked.
“So many functions?” Chu Lin’er was stunned. “Even my father’s phone isn’t this advanced. His only has three functions!”
“Oh? What’s the extra one he has?” Lin Hai was curious.
“A game—High or Low. He plays it all day, never puts his phone down.”
Pfft—
Lin Hai nearly choked.
Damn, how bored are you people in the underworld?
“Who’s your dad, anyway?” Lin Hai wanted to know who this “High or Low” addict was.
“King Chu Jiang.”
Cough, cough, cough—
Lin Hai nearly died on the spot.
“W-Who? Who did you say your dad is?” He bolted upright from the bed.
“King Chu Jiang. What’s the big deal?” Chu Lin’er looked puzzled.
What’s the big deal? Are you kidding me?!
King Chu Jiang was one of the Ten Yama Kings! This girl was the daughter of the King of Hell? He never would’ve guessed!
No wonder Du Qian called her “Princess.”
Holy crap, I’ve been hanging out with the daughter of the King of Hell! The thought made Lin Hai a little giddy.
Gotta get on her good side—absolutely must get on her good side!
He repeated it like a mantra in his head.
“Hey, Lin’er…” Lin Hai grinned, eyes narrowing into slits.
“What?” Chu Lin’er immediately grew wary at his sleazy expression.
“Relax, don’t be so tense.” His smile turned even creepier.
“Say what you have to say. You’re giving me goosebumps.” She quickly backed away.
Lin Hai’s face darkened.
Damn, is it really that bad?
Guess I’m just too righteous, too noble, too much of a gentleman to pull off sucking up.
Then an idea struck him.
Hell’s entertainment is so damn lacking. If I give them something fun to do, they’ll probably worship me, right?
Worth a shot!
“Lin’er, let me install something fun on your phone.”
“What fun thing?” She leaned in curiously, then suddenly realized something was off.
“Hey, who said you could call me ‘Lin’er’? And who are you calling ‘big brother’? You wanna die?” She planted her hands on her hips and glared.
Lin Hai’s eye twitched.
Just you wait—you’ll be begging to call me ‘big brother’ soon!
Damn, this crappy phone doesn’t even have a browser. Can’t even download games.
He opened his own phone’s file manager.
“Huh? A Gomoku (Five-in-a-Row) installer—must’ve downloaded it when I was bored once.”
He moved the file to his favorites, then sent it to Chu Lin’er via WeChat.
After accepting it, he helped her install it and tested it out.
No way—it actually works!
Chu Lin’er watched, eyes wide.
“Hey, did my phone just upgrade? To the same level as my father’s?”
“Uh, sure. And if big brother here is happy, I can upgrade it even further.”
Lin Hai grinned inwardly.
This dummy—it’s just a simple app, not an upgrade.
“Dad! Dad!” Just then, Ah Hua came running over.
Ever since Chu Lin’er started staying with Lin Hai, Ah Hua’s living conditions had improved—no more sleeping outside in the doghouse.
“Damn it, how many times do I have to tell you? Stop calling me ‘Dad’!” Lin Hai kicked Ah Hua off the bed.
“Dad, it’s time to pick up Auntie Xiaoqing,” Ah Hua whined.
Lin Hai checked the time—Crap, almost forgot! School lets out in five minutes!
He rushed out, hopped in the car, and sped toward the school.
When he arrived, he saw Liu Xinqing already surrounded by Red and her gang.
“Liu Xinqing, hurry up and call that idiot to bring the dog over! Now!”
Lin Hai’s face darkened the moment he stepped out of the car.
Who the hell are you calling an idiot?
“Woof! Woof! Woof!” Ah Hua leaped out of the car and ran over.
“Wow, the dog’s here!”
“Puppy, you were so bad yesterday!”
“Hey, doggy, ditch that idiot and come with us!”
Ah Hua was instantly swarmed with attention.
The little pervert hammed it up, shamelessly rubbing against the girls’ sensitive areas.
Lin Hai rolled his eyes.
Damn pervert dog.
Watching Ah Hua show off, Lin Hai was too annoyed to deal with him. He grabbed Liu Xinqing, got back in the car, and drove off without a second glance.
“Hey! Dad! Wait for me!” Ah Hua chased after them, but the Land Rover soon vanished from sight.
“Stupid dad,” Ah Hua grumbled.
After dropping Liu Xinqing off, Lin Hai drove back to the villa.
At an intersection ahead, a large truck loaded with cargo sat silently.
Inside, a young man in a face mask watched the passing cars intently.
Suddenly, his eyebrows lifted.
There!
He revved the engine, and the truck lurched forward at terrifying speed.
Lin Hai saw the green light ahead and was about to pass through when a crushing force slammed into the side of the car.
He turned—Oh shit!
The truck was already upon him.
Damn it!
Lin Hai’s heart sank.
I’m done for!
