My Amazing WeChat is Connected to the Three Realms - Chapter 65
“Knock! Knock! Knock!” Someone rapped on the car window.
Lin Hai rolled it down.
“Are you moving or not? If not, get out of the way!” A bald man snapped irritably.
Shit. He’d forgotten the car was still parked in the middle of the road.
Lin Hai offered an apologetic smile and was about to drive off when—
“GRRROWL!”
Ah Hua lunged out the window, clamping his teeth onto the man’s shirt with a ferocity that suggested he’d happily swallow him whole.
“HOLY F—!” The bald man shrieked, scrambling backward like a crab before bolting down the street.
“So, Dad? How’d I do?” Ah Hua wagged his tail proudly.
Lin Hai smacked him on the head.
“Do? You idiot—if you bite someone, I get sued! Remember, you’re a Teddy, a pet dog. Stop acting like a damn attack hound!”
As he started the car, Ah Hua—now sulking—slunk over to Liu Xinqing’s lap, nuzzling her for sympathy.
Freaking pervert mutt, Lin Hai cursed inwardly.
Then—click—an idea struck.
Wait a second…
Admittedly, Ah Hua’s sudden lunge had been terrifying.
What if I bring him tomorrow to pick up Xinqing?
A couple of growls from this oversized fluffball, and those female thugs would probably piss themselves.
Perfect.
With the plan set, Lin Hai’s mood lifted instantly.
Meanwhile, in the backseat, Ah Hua rested his head on Liu Xinqing’s chest, blissfully soaking up her affectionate scratches.
“Hey… how did he get so big so fast? It’s crazy,” she mused.
Lin Hai almost laughed. This girl’s something else—zero fear, just pure curiosity over a suddenly giant dog.
“Probably the medicine I gave him. You know how sketchy drugs and food are these days.”
“Ever seen that news story about the farmer who used some pesticide and grew watermelons taller than a person? Bet that pill had similar side effects.”
He spun the lie smoothly.
“Ohhh, that makes sense!” Liu Xinqing nodded, half-convinced.
With a dog this size, dorm life was out of the question. After dropping Liu Xinqing home, Lin Hai headed straight to his newly bought villa.
“Stay outside. Find a spot and lie down,” he ordered, slamming the door on Ah Hua.
“Nooo, Dad! I’m a pet! Pets live inside!” The dog clawed desperately at the door.
“Ugh, Dad’s the worst.”
After minutes of futile scratching, Ah Hua slumped off, tail dragging.
Then—aha!—he spotted an empty doghouse in the neighboring yard (left behind when the previous owners moved).
Ah Hua waddled over, flopped inside, and stretched like a contented human.
Just as he yawned—
“Hm?”
A stunningly beautiful woman materialized beside him, studying him with eerie curiosity.
Ah Hua froze. Then—switch—he instantly morphed into “adorable puppy” mode, wagging his tail like his life depended on it.
The woman (Chu Liner) observed him a moment longer before floating away, frowning.
“What a strange dog…”
The second she vanished, Ah Hua bolted back to Lin Hai’s door, claws scrabbling like a deranged woodpecker.
“DAD! DAD! THERE’S A FEMALE GHOST NEXT DOOR!!”
..
Meanwhile, Inside
Lin Hai, oblivious, lounged on his bed texting Liu Xinyue:
Lin Hai: “Sooo… when do I get to see that lingerie?” (😏)
Liu Xinyue: “Ugh! Practice first. Pick me up at the vocal studio at 7.”
Bored, he scrolled through the Heavenly Trade Group chat, where the gods were, as usual, roasting each other:
Sun Wukong: “Where’s that old fart Laozi? If he doesn’t show up soon, I’m wrecking his damn alchemy palace.”
Erlang Shen: “@Wukong Keep dreaming, monkey.”
Sun Wukong: “@Erlang Shen Oh, son, you begging for another beating?”
Ju Ling Shen: “@Wukong Hey, sneak us some elixirs while Laozi’s gone! (🤤)”
Erlang Shen: “@Ju Ling Shen Nice try. This monkey’s all bark. Last time Laozi nearly roasted him into jerky.”
Sun Wukong: “RAAH! @Erlang Shen THAT’S IT—I’M GOING RIGHT NOW!”
Lin Hai facepalmed. “Even as a Buddha, Wukong still falls for Erlang’s taunts…”
Next, he called his parents:
“Mom, how’s Dad’s leg pain?”
“Much better! That herbal patch you gave him worked miracles. Half the village’s asking where to buy them!”
Relief washed over him—followed by an entrepreneurial spark.
Maybe I should start a medicine company…
But for now, he shelved the idea.
“Mom, I bought a villa in the city. Once Ling finishes her exams, you and Dad are moving in with me.”
“You waste money! We’re fine in the village!” His mom’s scolding couldn’t hide her joy.
Making parents happy—that’s what matters.
As Lin Hai left, Ah Hua still clawed at the door.
“Dad! I’m serious about the gh—”
“Enough! Guard the house.” Lin Hai nudged him aside. As if a ghost would just move in next door.
…
At Campus
Parked outside the vocal studio, Lin Hai spotted a couple devouring each other under a tree—in broad daylight.
Classy.
Just as he turned away, their conversation floated over:
Girl (giggling): “Ye Shao~ You promised I’d win the singing competition…”
Man (smug): “After last night? Three of us might not even tire you out.”
Lin Hai did a double-take.
“Campus Belle Zheng Shuang… and Ye Ziming, leader of the ‘Four Young Masters’?”
