Honkai: Oh No, I’ve Become the Herrscher of Corruption?! - Chapter 101
(Switching to Enoxia’s perspective…)
When Enoxia regained consciousness, she found herself in a familiar snowfield, surrounded by Honkai beasts and zombies born from her own power.
“Strange… Why did my Honkai energy go out of control after entering this bubble universe?”
Just like when she had first awakened, Enoxia altered her own data. Since instruments in the main world couldn’t detect her true nature, the people in this bubble universe wouldn’t realize she was a Herrscher either.
“First, I need to find some electronic device to store a backup…”
But the landscape around her was nothing but endless white. No electronics, no people—just snow. In the blizzard, she couldn’t even tell direction, though she vaguely sensed something unusual behind her.
After walking backward for about a kilometer, she reached the edge of this world.
It looked like a transparent wall, but no scenery lay beyond it. The barrier wasn’t perfectly vertical but slightly curved, and the farther she walked inward, the more distant the boundary became. From this, she deduced that the world was enclosed in a hemispherical dome, like a lid sealing everything inside.
She knocked on the wall, but no sound echoed back. Even her Erosion powers couldn’t penetrate it, leaving her with no further clues.
However, upon closer inspection, she noticed faint blue mist seeping in at certain points along the boundary. Neither she nor the Honkai beasts spawned by her showed any reaction to it.
Following the edge further, she soon spotted a figure flailing wildly in the distance. As she approached, she saw a frail middle-aged man, parts of his body already showing signs of zombification.
Enoxia immediately used her Herrscher of Erosion authority to read his memories.
“A Honkai outbreak occurred a few kilometers away… Everyone was slaughtered. He was the only one who kept running, all the way to the edge… In any other fantasy novel, he’d be the protagonist. Too bad this is Honkai Impact 3rd.”
The moment she finished scanning his mind, he fully turned into a zombie, ending his life as a human.
“This bubble universe is called ‘Atlantis.’ Its highest authority is known as the ‘Guardian’… Wait a second—where the hell am I? Snowfields, a ‘Guardian,’ sharp social conflicts… Are you sure this isn’t Belobog?”
But there was no sign of Gepard (a familiar face from gacha pulls), and the snowfields were only a small part of Atlantis. Most of this world had climates suitable for human survival.
“Hmm… Can Honkai outbreaks even happen inside Quantum Sea bubble universes? Well, Seele Vollerei obtained an Imaginary Singularity in one and became the Herrscher of Death and Rebirth, so I guess that’s proof enough.”
“In principle, whether a bubble universe exists at the edge of the Imaginary Tree or within the Quantum Sea, as long as it persists, it maintains a relatively stable internal order to keep functioning. In other words, bubble worlds are still fundamentally part of real space.”
“And if it’s real space, then there must be an Imaginary Space beyond it. Given that, plus the Quantum Sea outside, the environment here is highly similar to the main world—meaning Honkai can still manifest. So I should just treat this place as a unique version of the main world and not overthink it.”
From the man’s memories, Enoxia learned that Atlantis resembled a modern nation, complete with cars, planes… Though it lacked an organization like Schicksal, it did have a specialized anti-Honkai agency: the Special Circumstances Handling Bureau (SCHB), operating under the Atlantis government—similar to how Fire MOTH answered to the United Nations.
Currently, the SCHB was led by this world’s version of Cecilia Schariac. Given the agency’s efficiency, they were already engaging Honkai beasts and searching for survivors. The man who had fought so hard to survive had collapsed just before dawn.
Enoxia’s judgment proved correct. After walking inward from the boundary for half an hour, she heard the rhythmic thumping of helicopter blades.
As rescue personnel approached, she seized the moment and repeated her old trick—ordering the Honkai beasts spawned by her to attack her, then feigning unconsciousness as a “survivor” caught in the crossfire.
After a brief skirmish, Enoxia felt someone lift her up. She cracked her eyes open slightly and saw a stunning blonde girl with blue eyes, dressed in a black gothic gown, wielding a gleaming lance (definitely not the Abyss Flower). A faint, pleasant fragrance lingered around her.
“Definitely not Bianka Ataegina—she looks younger than her 2017 self. And since this world’s Cecilia is still alive, that name shouldn’t even exist here…”
The girl glanced down at her, eyes widening in surprise, then leaped into the air—holding Enoxia with one arm—and landed effortlessly inside the helicopter. A medic inside produced a strange device and scanned her thoroughly.
“Lady Angelia, aside from an abnormally high Honkai resistance, she shows no irregularities. Still unconscious, likely due to exhaustion from her first battle with Honkai beasts and lack of combat experience. She should recover after some rest. In any case, she’s promising material.”
“Take her directly to my home. My sister will want to meet her.”
“Lady Angelia, that’s…”
“I know it’s against protocol, but my instincts tell me she’s special. I’d rather my sister and I make a good impression first. Who knows how those freaks at the bureau might scare her off?”
Hours later, the helicopter touched down atop a skyscraper. Angelia scooped Enoxia up again, leaped off the roof, and landed precisely on the second floor of a nearby villa.
“We’re alone now, miss. You can stop pretending.”
Reluctantly, Enoxia stirred in her arms. “When… did you notice?”
“Right before landing. You closed your eyes, but your vitals suggested you should’ve woken up by then. Don’t worry—I’m not upset. Given the kind of rumors about SCHB that reach places like Kaplan Village, caution is understandable.”
“But I’ll prove our true nature through actions. Facts dismantle lies. Come, you must be hungry after so long without food.”
Angelia took two steps forward, then turned back. “Oh, and… do you remember your name?”
“Enoxia.”
“Eno…xia. A lovely name. It suits your beauty.”
With a warm smile, she extended her left hand.
“Angelia Schariac, acting captain of SCHB’s 1st Squad, Atlantis. A pleasure to meet you.”
