Li Yue was picked up early the next morning, much to Xu Ze’s relief. Although Li Yue had been very friendly toward him, having such a high-profile young master under his care was undeniably stressful.

Before leaving, however, Li Yue asked for Xu Ze’s phone number. Then, with an air of effortless ease, he was carried out of the ward by six subordinates who had specially flown in from Beijing, accompanied by two doctors and two nurses. They loaded him into Xingcheng’s most advanced medical transport vehicle and headed straight for the airport.

“With that kind of setup, he must have a private jet waiting for him…” Xu Ze thought with a touch of envy.

But envy aside, he still had his own responsibilities. Xu Ze was confident in himself. Though he couldn’t compare to those like Li Yue who were born with silver spoons in their mouths, he had Xiao Dao. As long as he worked hard, it wasn’t impossible for him to surpass their achievements one day…

Director Gu said with a smile, “Our Dr. Hu takes his job seriously and scolded your doctor for being reckless, but then your nurse yelled right back at him…”
